Welcome to my first official blog post about Dunedin, Florida. Not the most exciting topic, but it’s a preview of how I blog. I generally go around town and write about the most mundane stuff I see. I tried this before in 2007 with another city. By 2012 I had 14,000 views per day. Will I get that here? Probably not. It all comes down to effort, inspiration and content.

I come to Edgewater often to work. Last week I noticed Dunedin workers ripping out the playground padding, so today I see some new stone and black rubber stuff all over the ground. I’m assuming this same thing is happening at Weaver Park, which has been closed since Hurricane Milton. As of now, both major playgrounds near the main part of downtown are closed (Weaver Park being the other). I’m anxious to see both these back and running, so it’s great to see some progress.
